Ultralight sailor need help for new board

Hello everybody.

I am windsurfing almost 1.5 years now, i am 57-58 kg 1.70cm able to waterstart well. I currently have a Naish Freewide 120 lt board which i feel sometimes pretty heavy under my feat and was thinking getting something a bit smaller, in the range of 100-90 lt. Would it make sense to go for a Freestyle kind of board at those litters? or maybe go for something even smaller? I am not planning to sell my previous board so i will be able to have both.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards

Hi,

I am the same weight as you and has been using an 88l freestyle board as my biggest. I then have smaller waveboards for hen it's windy, like 66l.
I have learnt a lot of new stuff on freestyle boards, they are quick to plane, have a good windrange and can even be ok in small waves.

My starboard flare 2009 88L is for sale, 400gpb. Email me if your interested
