I am visiting Cuba in February, there is very little info available on windsurfing in Cuba. Most of the hotels in Varadero indicate that they have windsurfing gear amongst all the other sports gear on offer.
Are there people out there whom have visited Cuba and can shine some light on the subject?
What kind of range of equipment can one expect or would it be the 80's and 90's old style kit.
Is it worthwile flying a selection of kit for light weather over?
Any comment would be much appreciated.

Thanks Mark, I have also contacted cubawindwurf.com, who actually responded this morning. For other parties who might be interrested; they would rent equipment (JP and Excess) on an unofficial basis but are unfortanately closed between 05-02-2007 till 07-03-2007 due to their annual Kite and Windsurfing motorhome trip throughout Cuba.
