Onshore fronside riding at my spot, advice needed

Hi people.

So, I have Starboard Freesex 96 2002 and wanted to start waveriding. I'm OK with backside riding with freesex, it is nice board for that. But for frontside waveriding I'm in dillema. Where I live we have small waves (onshore, cross-on), knee high, sometimes bigger, with 5.0 sail, nicely powered.

When I go in bottom turn (if you can call it like that) sometimes I keep speed good in clew first position, sometimes not. When I caught one wave my nose stuck in it (you can see on video). Is my board too long, or do I need more back foot pressure, more training or a new proper big wave board? Tail on freesex looks like in wave board, it is slightly fish tail, or it is just some freestyle feature of those days... I'm not expert, I dont know.

I'm 95 kg, and my technique is nothing special, I'm begginer in waves, training backside smacks and clew first planing, therefore should I look for second hand Evo 90 litres or newer multifin board 95 litres? I'm not keen to spend money for a new board.

Conditions, from which you'll figure my skills and conditions:

Thank you,
