Hey,

Had a great session today, not much wind but managed a few planning runs on my 8.0. I do have one problem though - the front part of my harness lines keep twisting, which moves them round the back of my boom. I've noticed that other sailers lines look quite floppy and that mine are quite stiff in comparison, so when I tug on the boom to flick the line into the hook, i get no reaction.

Is this because they're new lines and need to be streched out or is there a way of sorting this out?

Might be you've got harness line with attachment loops only large enough for narrower diameter booms - I won a pair of Naish lines like that - nice looking but useless until i replace my wave boom
