hi guys,

i'm trying to decide on a 6week trip to either Oz in jan/feb or Jeri in nov/dec.

can anyone tell me just how windy it is in western oz during jan/feb? how many days sailing could i expect on my trip? i know jeri has awesome wind stats, so it would handy to know how oz compares...

Western Oz should be at its windiest in Jan and Feb. Expect to be on sails between 5.3 - 4.2. Geraldton generally gets the most wind. You could get winds everyday, or get 5 days on and a couple of days off cycles - but then you have the option of looking for wind as it is such a big place.
