Travel Loads

Dear All,

I am taking my kit abroad and just wondered whether , I need some advice about flying with my kit.

I am wanting to take a Freestyle board, 3 sails (4m, 4.8m, 5.3m), 2 skinnys (370/400) and a boom.

Do you think I have any chance of keeping this inside the 32 kilo limit? Answers ASAP please!!!!

Thanks Alex
AlB

yeah quite likely you could get it all into 32kgs

if you are getting tight then a couple of ideas:

-take off ALL extras (footstraps, fins, harness lines, sail and mast bags) and put into hand luggage or in your pockets
-make sure the bag doesnt get wet on the way to airport
-take a backup bag, e.g. a sail bag for just the sails if it doesnt fit in, or if you get getting dropped off by a mate get them to wait until the check in is done
-sometimes the bag is weighed at the check in desk, then actually loaded at a separate counter (oversize), so you can be cheeky and load the bag up between these two parts. but I'm not advocating this...
-put your foot under the bag when its being weighed whilst distracting the lady with a sexy wink
