I'm just starting to try some aerial freestyle tricks (vulcans, forwards, etc.), and I need a new ~100l board to help me get there. I'm looking pretty seriously at the 2006 Mistral Syncro 103 and the Exocet Cross 102.
My next board down is a 76L RRD wave 1, which is 51 cm wide and good above about 23mph average, so it would be good if this board could make it all the way up to that wind range (I know that's a bit of a stretch)
Also, any opinions on the 90L syncro would be appreciated. I have the feeling it is a bit small to learn this stuff on though (I'm ~170lbs, and I would like to limit sail size to ~5.4 and smaller, so I'm not too powered up to learn this stuff properly).
I also would like a more durable board - I can't afford to do this every year
Thanks in advance!
