I weigh about 95 kg and looking to buy a good freeride 160l board.
Mostly looking for the fastest most stable and the one offering the best control.

the choices I have are:
bic techno 160
ahd fast forward 160
starboard go 166
mistral explosion 160
fanatic shark 160

any thoughts?

Hi Kat, its difficult for us to recommend here as we havent tried any of these boards yet.

We have tested 120's last year: [www.boardseekermag.com]

And are doing 130's at the moment.

Its not really possible to scale results from smaller boards to bigger ones as its not unusual to find the shapes to be quite different. However checking our 120 test might give you some clues as to what directions some of those ranges are gong in eg Fast, Controllable, Maneuverable etc etc

Our 130 test (which includes the Shark) will be released in about 3-4 weeks time.
