For Wind reliability Morocco is hard to beat in August- spent a couple of summers there and plenty of wind, although later in year is better for waves, but depends what your after. Biking out there would probably be hot and dry! I have windsurfed in the Philippines on the island of Boracay- its quite a popular spot with a big lagoon and then waves offshore on the reef, so good options, and iby timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Calm down! If they bother you so much then use one of these will simply remove the ad content from whichever site you like. Although on some sites it can remove a fair bit more so they look pretty sparse, but the videos will be clean. No doubt someone will point out the trade off for all that video content which has to be hosted and funded by someone...by timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION

I am not going to get into the pros and cons of offshore windfarms, its a huge debate, and with the announcement and short sighted view of the government yesterday that the Severn barrage will not go ahead for a a good many years offshore windfarms will be the main source for the UK to meet is renewable energy commitments- so they are more likely to appear than not. But as someone who has beenby timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Thats awesome! i'm starting to wonder what exactly i do when i go sailing!by timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
That would be my thought too, staying upwind of a kite surfer is always preferable, and not just a ploy to maintain course. Obviously this can be made clear by the windsurfer, but the prospect of lines/downwind moving kite would result in me heading upwind- albeit as clearly as possible to show i am taking action- which is perfectly legitimate as a port-starboard meeting scenario.by timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Yeah definetly a topic which more poepl should observe. I agree with your post as a whole- and have no doubt the other thread can be taken as seriously as most threads out there... From a w/s point of view usual rules of the road apply for all, only issue is kite lines which are very horizontal and so water space being occupied is excessive and therefore movement upwind to get out of the waby timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Good work- glad to hear the dedication is strong! I'm fortunate enough to make my own work day so plenty of sessions been had, and next week looks like more of the same!by timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Have all the pros and their photogs gone over seas? How come there is so little action from the UK? I've had more sailing this week than ever before and the forecast just continues to deliver, yet all we have is one update from SJ at Avon! I'm no pro hence a lack of evidence supporting my sessions- but they have been good, with plenty of wind and swell about surely a little more UK could beby timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Surely "Last week a big and stormy swell hit Maui, and people enjoyed in very different ways. There was something for ...." could easily be said about the UK right now? We've had gale force winds over the weekend, yet the only story of any waterpsorts is the BBC kitesurf link i posted. I love to hear about where its going off and everything else from the world of our great sport, buby timpy - BOARDSEEKER MAGAZINE

I'll second that! Despite sooo many comments on this site and others along those lines, nothing changes. They just don't seem to be able to put together a decent mag. Anyway i've spent to many years waiting, boardseeker et al gives me the latest news and videos as well as links to relevant sites, the mags are just a month behind. And where they could provide great travel features to rival onlby timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hey, Just wondered if anyone has sailed between Ilfracombe- Lynmouth in westerlies? Up that way end of week and be nice for some recommendations... Cheersby timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
I use an XL Da Kine Thermoform, and seems big enough for me. Used to have a M North harness though, which again was fine for me. I generally have 35-36" Jeans if that helps. But Da Kine seem to fit the general sizes and produce good quality kit, in my experience.by timpy - GENERAL DISCUSSION
