Thanks for the advice guys. Was very helpful I have just broke the bank and got a 2nd hand RRD 83 wave cult quad. I'm seriously looking forward to trying it, now all i need is a nice summer storm Cheers Ir 92by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hi all, I was just wondering has anybody tried both of the RRD quads and how they compare? The wave cult quad sounds better for european conditions that we get in uk and ireland but how much of a difference is there between them in reality? Would the hardcore wave still be good in the mushy onshore conditions that we get? I would appreciate any opinions or comments Cheers IR92by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hi Guys I was just wondering does anyone have any expeience sailing either of these spots during the end of october? I am reasonably competent in waves and want to improve my wave sailing I have heard that pozo is ballistically windy, but form the pwa videos it looks like a nuclear windy bump and jump spot, the waves don't look great for riding(lets face it pros can shred pretty much any wave)by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Well I'm not big so that will be fine, sub 100L boards it is... Yeah, I'm going for two weeks so I should be alright. Yeah theres loads of wind here in ireland at the moment, I haven't gotten out much unfortunately due to school exams, so I'll be dying for some good windsurfing, by the time I get there..by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
so I'm guessing I'll probably be going for 100L boards and less I don't get out on anything that small very often, I' dont even own a 4.0 Well it should be different from getting frustrated froma lack of wind Cheersby IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hi All, I was just wondering had anyone been to sotavento in june? It's supposed to be choppy, but I'm not sure how choppy. I'm assumimg it is better for blasting some days, and bump and jump on others.. Please give my tell me of your experinces Cheers Eoghanby IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
i recently did the same, i moved from a 130 litre freeride to a 96 fsw. I noticed that you need to be powered up, going out in <15knots isn't really an option( unless you have amazing technique) and uphauling is a nightmare..by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hi All, I have fixed my mast by putting expanding foam in the top and blocking any way for sand to get in Thanks again for advice..by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hi guys I was just wondering what ye define light wind as? Less than 15 knots? I am 71kgs , should i be able to sail a 83 quad in 10knots ish on 6.2?by IR 92 - ASK A CLONE
Thanks very much for that guys! I think ill stick to 2cam for the moment..by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Okay... Could anybody give me some other suggestions? How much harder are 3cam sails to use than 2cam sails?by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hi all, I was just wondering could ye give me your thoughts on the pros and cons of both of these sails?? And of course discuss the speed difference? Cheers! IR 92by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
I was just wondering how much faster are 3cam deciated slalom sails than 2cam freerace? blasting sails? Please give me your opinions Regards IR 92by IR 92 - ASK A CLONE

My mast is a loft lip 100% carbon 430 Rdm The joint on my mast comes from bottom into the top, the opposite of yours. My bung was loose and i reglued , but it has had no effect.. Does anybody else have any other ideas? Thanks for that charlieby IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Thanks vey much for the advice! I think the sand is getting in at the top though, and my bung doesn't seem to work. Should I use any kind of filler?? Cheersby IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hi all, My RDM mast seems to get stuck together every time i go sailing. I have to spend ages bending it to get it apart. I was wondering does anyone have tips to stop the sand from getting in? Could I put in filler in it? I would apreciate any advice Cheers!! IR 92by IR 92 - GENERAL DISCUSSION
