Navigation Search Content Other Mpora SitesHi Tommy Western Oz should be at its windiest in Jan and Feb. Expect to be on sails between 5.3 - 4.2. Geraldton generally gets the most wind. You could get winds everyday, or get 5 days on and a couple of days off cycles - but then you have the option of looking for wind as it is such a big place. Look at the Travel Guide which goes most in depth Clydeby Clyde Waite - Admin - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Going fast is better because it makes the sail lighter and the rotation more effortless. Also, just jumping and looking back doesnt make the loop work, head movement wise you probably want to jump look where you want to go (off the wind), so you are looking forwards, then as you pull the sail across you and into your chest you are aiming to essentially roll around your back shoulder so this iby Clyde Waite - Admin - GENERAL DISCUSSION
I reckon SWB is the way to go now, since most boards are not above 240. Better MPG, parking, speed, convenience etc. The Transporter double seat folds forwards flush and flat if you need to get longer stuff in. Although that doesnt leave room for your girlfriend - Doh. Guess she will have to lie in the back...by Clyde Waite - Admin - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Check these pictures out for the rig movementby Clyde Waite - Admin - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Hey ste. one thing i would say, is that jumping and pulling in like a b*stard might not have the desired affects! Remember that you have to bear away in the air, so the rig movement is like a kinda similar to a super fast flare gybe from a tight reach. You know the ones, where you really have to pull the sail accross to the outside of the turn and pull your back hand in to steer round the turnby Clyde Waite - Admin - GENERAL DISCUSSION
