Initially I had the mast slightly forward of the middle position in order to help get that rail down in the turn, approx 5-6cm from the front edge. However this made the shoulders catch a lot and it did not feel good at all. Moving it back 2-3cm made a huge difference and currently I have the mast positioned 8-9 cmby Surfmeister - ASK A CLONE
Hej! I have had the Quatro Tempo 76 for about a month and have sailed the board in a wide range of conditions, from underpowered 5.0m2 to fully loaded 4.1, in dead-onshore to side shore and from 1m mushy, crap waves to 3m clean waves. My verdict: An amazing board! My background: 74kg, competent wave sailor sailing mostly in x-on 1-3m conditions where the waves in general are quite powerless (by Surfmeister - ASK A CLONE
Great reading the test! I am eagerly waiting for my Quatro T76 which I ordered in december. Now the ice and snow on the west coast of Sweden is finally gone and the season has started. Concerning the test I missed the trimming guidelines from previous board reviews. Adrian, could you give some advice on footstrap and fin placement on the Quatro Tempo 76. Will be sailing primarily 1-2m onshore musby Surfmeister - ASK A CLONE
After a lot of pondering I ordered the Quatro Tempo 76 which I think will be a great choice for my type of conditions. Can't wait to get it! Right now it is -10°C and snow on the west coast of Sweden......Thanx for the information on the Quatro Tempo, it helped to get the decision done! I am eager to read the complete test!by Surfmeister - ASK A CLONE
Thanks alot Adrian for you response! Is your comments of the Tempo referring to the Tempo 76 or Tempo 84? A few (!) final questions: Bottum turn:, Would you consider the Tempo 76 as "loose" in the sense that you can quickly in mid-turn adjust your bottum turn radius which you often need in x-on in order to get that nice lip? Since you state that it can turn more tightly than the Eby Surfmeister - ASK A CLONE
Any hints on your findings? Looking for a 4.0-5.3 waveboard for 1-3m x-on mushy, slow waves. I have been sailing Evo for several years and am uppgrading to something new; independent of brand and type.by Surfmeister - ASK A CLONE
Hej! When will the waveboard tests be published? Am in the process of ordering a board and it would be great if you could share your experiences prior to purchase. In particular I am interested in the Quatro Tempo's; you have previously written in your news section that you love the boards but it would be good for more subjective feedback. Thanks! /Jonasby Surfmeister - ASK A CLONE
Looking for a "one-only" wave board to be used for x-on conditions with primarily 4.1-5.3 sails (+5.7 on occasion, my weight 75kg) with 1-3m slow, mushy waves. I have looked at both the SB Q81 and the RRD TW82 and would like your thoughts about which board has the greatest wind range. In your tests you state that the Q81 can happily be used with 4.2 whilst the TW82 you recommend 4.7 asby Surfmeister - ASK A CLONE
