Hey guys, is anyone successfully taking GoPro HD footage and putting it in to Final Cut Pro on a mac? If so, what settings are you putting the camera on? Does this make a difference to the editing / transfer in to editing software? Cheersby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
I heard a rumour that they're really close now. probably manufacturers getting a bit shirty and taking their time responding. it's taken ages, sure. but still, we're british, we love to wait.by teenybopper - ASK A CLONE
it is rubbish, there's just no sailing on the agenda at all. i've just been hitting the gym, so that at least i'm fit when it does blow if i don't do that i'll just get annihilated and blown to bits as soon as it arrivesby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
GURGLETROUSERS Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- Are people in all seriousness now spending anything between three and five hundred pounds plus on the way a sail looks, and the image that it projects of the user? If so the state of windsurfing is beyond repair. No, that's not what I'm saying, what I do say though is that a lot of people do consider it importantby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
I agree with the fact they look a bit rubbish. it's a shame, i largely buy based on what things look like, and they really don't cut it when head to head with the others. i suppose a benefit is that they don't date, if they look old to start with, at least they won't get worse.by teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
from what I have heard, the vandals are just old gaastra shapes, which to me is no bad thing sure, the graphics are pretty in your face, but gaastras from last year or the year before are awesome, try them, let us know what you think.by teenybopper - ASK A CLONE

some weird spambot perhaps. although maybe it is the real kathleen turner.by teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
New name, same game Andy King's website, K100windsurfing.co.uk is back in action. It's co.uk this time, not .com but other then that, it's business as usual. For tips on how to forward, back loop, push loop or anything else windsurfing based, get online and check the site out. Lots of pics to help the learning process. No more excuses.by teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
any ideas where's good to sail in april? 5.0 and below and waveboard ideally?by teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION

sense of fun, or constant hangover... that is the questionby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
agreed, great podcast, but the pink T Shirt HAS to go. i'll see you boys laterby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
what length harness lines you need is a debate that has gone on for ages. some people say that the length is found by putting your hand on the boom, in between the line and then putting your elbow down in to the line, if your forearm just fits in, then that's the right length. whether that works or not, i don't know. i'd say get some adjustable ones and see what works for you. you can get adjuby teenybopper - ASK A CLONE
hey mate, the dakine distributor spends most of his time on the boards forum. you should ask on there, i'd have thought he'd know i think he's graemef then exit the forum asap, before you get involved in some inane debate about why longboards aren't on the cover of this months windsurf magby teenybopper - ASK A CLONE
yeah really this is old now. some agree, some don't some like the clones, some think they are a gimmick whatever, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and the forum is a place where you should be able to air those thoughts. i welcome all this, sure, people shouldn't cross the line, but people being passionate about windsurfing is a great thing and nothing good ever gets done without generby teenybopper - ASK A CLONE
has anyone else seen / used anything different to get good reliable shots and NOT lose their camera? personally i am trying to find one that will support a bigger camera / camcorder. cheersby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
hey mate, i suck in waves but generally come out intact after a session. maybe get hold of an old carbon boom, i use pryde carbon ones (these seem super strong and can be found for little cost) and like the other chap said, also get hold of a skinny mast, then you are giving yourself the best chance of staying together should a rinsing happen. i've been taken out by the waves many many times aby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
this is great has that been in a magazine? or do you keep it on your desktop well, no point moaning on a forum get those pics in to the magazines that's what we need kids / people could buy that board and one sail and sail it that is the way forward, surelyby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
agreed, and i see your point, but i was kind of referring back to the original question, which is one of why isn't windsurfing more popular. Now, I'm not sure, but if you took the norm in the 80's, long boards were in the press more, they had coverage. I think we need to consider how times have changed since then. And now, with the invention of pushloops and freestyle etc , great looking snazzby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
I assume here that you're talking about the attitude between longboarders and shortboarders in both sports? to me there is a huge difference, and a very different mindset. longboard surfing is not viewed in the same way as longboard windsurfing at all. yes, it is slower, and suits (some would argue) an older participant, but it is cool, it still holds kudos. the boards are nice, the riders havby teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
sure, personally, i believe they are a bit of an unused resource, forums in general. they are a great way of connecting kids to more experienced sailors and maybe pushing other guys forward, while at the same time being a place for banter as you say. but then, everyone uses them for different reasons i guess. some to learn new stuff, some to chat...by teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
fair enough, that makes sense. wonder if it is like that for most folk?? as for boards website...for me the boards forum is open to look around, i think new posts are just invisible at the mo, so old stuff, or a lot of it anyway is there to view.by teenybopper - GENERAL DISCUSSION
