HI. I'm fairly new to windsurfing. I can tack and gybe etc OK but am not yet planing. I bought a harness recently as I expect that I will need this to get planing, and to generally improve with the onset of windier conditions in the autumn. At the weekend I tried to use the harness for the first time, and - you've guessed it - within seconds I was catapulted over the board by a gust of wind, landby pcc - GENERAL DISCUSSION
Thaks for feedback, guys. I figured that it would be a debatable subject and you have confirmed my thoughts. Think I'll go with the suggestion to experiment with adjustable ones to see what length suits me, then get some fiexed ones when I have worked it out. Hi. Just started windsurfing a few months ago and about to get a harness to help me progress. Question is: what's the best way to work out the length required? Also, if I understand the books OK, as I progress, I may need to move the footstraps further out and back - does this mean I will need to get longer lines? Are lines adjustable? All help appreciated - I am still a rookie but keen to learnby pcc - ASK A CLONE
